$f:(X,{\mathcal{T}}_X)\hookrightarrow (Y,{\mathcal{T}}_Y)$ Embedding is a function between two topological spaces has the following properties:

• $f:X\to f(X)$ is a Homeomorphism
• $X\subset Y$

Embedding preserves the structure of a topological structure.
