Major Features
[consonantal]: is the sound a consonant? (e.g.,[-consonantal]: Glides, Vowels, /h/, /ʔ/)[syllabic]: can the sound act as the peak or nucleus of a syllable?( e.g.,[+syllabic]: Vowels)[sonorant]: is the sound resonant or singable? (e.g.,[-onorant]: Obstruents)
Laryngeal Features
[voice]: Is the sound voiced? (e.g.,[+voiced]: Voiced Sounds)[spread glottis (S.G.)]: is there aspiration in the sound? (e.g.,[+S,G,]: /pʰ/, /tʰ/, /kʰ/, /h/)[constricted glottis (C.G.)]: is the glottis closed? (e.g.,[+C.G.]: /ʔ/)
Manner Features
[continuant]: does the sound have continuous airflow through the oral cavity? (e.g.,[+continuant]: Fricatives, Liquids, Glides, Vowels)[nasal]: does the sound have airflow through the nasal cavity?
