Definition

If $f$ is continuous in $[a,b]$, and $f(a)<f(b)$, then $\forall p\in (f(a),f(b)),\exists c\in (a,b),f(c)=p$

If $f$ is a Continuous Function, then it takes on any given value between $f(a)$ and $f(b)$ at some point within the interval
